Jake Yun

Undergraduate: University of Wisconsin - Madison
Planned Major: Computer Engineering
Recommended Book: The Tao of Pooh

Jake Yun began his Freshman career in the Fall of 2023 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His major is in computer engineering and his minor is in philosophy, due to his desire to dive into complex, seemingly unanswerable questions.

When on the Constitution team, Jake was coached by Mr. Griffith, who had a significant positive impact on Jake’s success at Lincoln. According to Jake, Mr. Griffith is “one of the kindest people [I’ve] ever met,” gifting him many life lessons and an appreciation for US governance.

While at Lincoln, Jake’s favorite extracurricular was being a part of the Red Cross Club, honing his organizational and leadership skills, and helping to build a strong community that allowed him to build a strong community, connect with his peers, and save lives.

Jake is particularly proud of his ability to consider himself reliable.  From a young age, his father has always stressed reliability as a key character trait, and he believes that it demonstrates not only competence but also emotional dependability.

Congratulations, Jake! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish.
